Buying a GooglePC from Wal-Mart …

… could in fact be a reality! Yes, you heard it right. According to this article from SlashDot (and the original from latimes.com) it is very possible that the Big Boy Google is working on a Google PC – that’s a physical hardware boxed unit, y’all. And it plans to run a Goggle created OS. That’s right .. no Windows or Linux (or however you want to spell/pronounce it). Speculation says it could be as much as a couple hundred bucks.

Apparently, Google has been in conversation with Wal-Mart (and perhaps others) over possibly bringing the units to sale. We’ll have to wait and see!
