Apple Mail Essentials

So my good friend Map just happened to be using my computer and was amazed at this nice little application that displays your mail messages in a translucent overlay on your computer. The name is Mail Appetizer from Bronson Beta and it’s a definite “must-have” for life on a mac (if you’re using Mail.app, that is). Mail Appetizer allows me to quickly delete, read, or pop up a message and...

Internet Market “Widgetized”

I’ve created a “widgetized” version of the Internet Market Wordpress Theme created by Kaushal Sheth (originally developed by Luka Cvrk). Theme theme uses 3 widget sidebars. Sidebar 1 and Sidebar 2 refer to the “Left” and “Right” sidebars located on the main index page. Sidebar 3 is the left sidebar available for the single post pages.

Google Pages … free webpage builder

Google Pages is new service from Google which allows you to create web pages and then post them. If you’ve seen an app like iWeb (or any other page building application) you’ll know what I’m talking about. The difference is that it runs in the browser (Ajax-able) is free and integrates with just about everything else Google is doing. It’s worth a check out!

What’s crazy is that I find myself often going back and forth for months on end sometimes just wanting to use Safari and other times (like now) wanting to use Firefox. I also have to use a PC at times (either via VirtualPC or RDC to a couple other development boxes). So with all these different computers and browsers bookmark sharing is a big deal....

Biblical curse generator

“Listen, O ye dabbler in abominations, for you will be turned into a pillar of salt!” Visit the online biblical curse generator to create your own random curses. While you’re there check out the iPod Shuffle “Cross” lanyard, too. NOTE: This site is intended for fun and is not meant to be taken seriously. Additionally, I can take no responsibility for whatever recourse – positive...

VMWare Server going free

It seems everyone is begining to embrace the “free” product market. In fact it seems to be that this is becoming a standard way of interjecting your product into the market. Adobe has done it with Flex, Microsoft has done it with SQL server, Oracle with their DB, and now, VMWare is doing it with their GMX Virtual Server (Windows and Linux) to be released today. For more info check out these links: ITtoolbox...
